I love it when months start on Mondays
It's the first week of September. And even if you're not going back to school, it still feels like something is shifting, right?
If your routines have felt wobbly lately, you’re not alone. Transitions mess with our sense of rhythm, especially for ADHD brains. So instead of forcing yourself back into a structure that doesn’t fit anymore, try this:
**☀️ Ask yourself: What actually worked this summer?** Not what you meant to do. Not what someone else says “should” work. What rhythm did you naturally fall into?
**🍁 And then: What needs to shift this fall?** That might mean adding more structure… or taking even more off your plate. Either way, this is your chance to recalibrate intentionally.
One thing I’ve learned the hard way: When I try to copy someone else’s routine, I burn out. But when I build a rhythm around my energy, my brain, and my actual life? That’s when things start to flow again.
