Decision fatigue? Yeah, I know her.

Back to the archive

Why yes, yes I have missed two weeks of these emails. Let's just say I was in a perpetual state of decision fatigue for a few weeks. If you have ADHD like me, too many choices = brain meltdown.

So here’s my favorite way to keep (or get) myself moving:

The One Decision Rule.

What is it?

👉 When your brain wants to overthink, pick one decision to guide everything else.

Example:

  • Instead of “How do I plan my whole week?” → “What’s my ONE priority this week?”

  • Instead of “What content should I make?” → “What’s ONE message I want to share?”

One decision anchors your energy. One decision gives your brain a clear yes/no filter. One decision keeps you from spiraling into perfectionism (been there).

This week, try it. Pick one.Let it hold you up when your brain wants to unravel.

And let me know how it goes! You can reply directly to this email - I read them all :)

Talk soon,

Em
